Race Report coming in!

This weekend was another fantastic set of results from the Team Blizard crew with the Doncaster 10k taking center stage with so many of you all running there.

There was however, other races on which the guys did amazingly well in which included the popular Edwinstowe Trail 10k, PECO cross country and South Yorkshire cross country league over in Barnsley to name three off road runs. But star of the show off road this week was Michelle Horswood who only went  and won the Hardmoor 80 and can be seen here receiving her prize for 1st V65!

York athlete Vivianne Fraser who now has the full set of new personal bests for 2022 from 5k right up to the marathon!

Regular training partners Nathan Doy, Andy Teasdale and Jacob Clark who was running his first 10k for nearly 10 years!

Mentions need to go to Rob Barnes and James Doyle who both pb’d after working so hard post tests.

However “Run of the week” goes to James “Nemo” Fisher who completed his first race for a couple of years after suffering a long term injury that most people would have just given up their running with.

His patient build up although did not result in a new personal best it will have certainly allowed him to move a massive step closer to full fitness.
