Lactate Testing

Amanda Barclay

I went to see Caroline at Blizzard as I was experiencing lower back pain that didn’t go with time. She listened to my symptoms & asked me questions to gather more information. She tested my mobility, provided massage & access to a fantastic app with exercises for me to do at home. I had a fitness event to attend & we discussed what my limits might be. Caroline always explained what she was doing & treated me with kindness. I went from not being able to walk more than a couple of miles without pain to walking 13.1 relatively pain free in just a few weeks

Debbie Kirkham

Jodie has been amazing throughout all of my appointments. She was professional and friendly helping me feel relaxed and at ease. Very easy to talk with. Her expertise and knowledge has been invaluable. Jodie creates a welcoming safe space which was very important to me. I would highly recommend Jodie.

Ben Lizi

I recently had treatment with Caroline in Doncaster with recovery from my broken pelvis. There service and treatment i received was second to non. Regularly checking in and fitting in with myself and my team. She helped me return to full training and competition ahead of schedule with no following problems. A big thank you to Caroline and the team at Blizard

Mark Lawton

Recently went for my 2nd lactate threshold test which was really insightful, pinpointing where I was stronger than the 1st test, but perhaps more importantly where I was weaker. Dave really knows his stuff so when it comes to using the results of the test to move forward. A training framework/plan was included with the test and its tailored to your own numbers and your own lifestyle/commitments. Nothing cookie cutter or copied from other athletes. Highly recommended. I shouldn't have waited so long for the 2nd test. The first one was really useful, but the with the 2nd one, much more started to click and I saw real value in testing more regularly.

After 40 years of running, this is the best physio I’ve ever been to

Ben Elliott

A very informative consultation provided by Dave Tune at Blizard, Doncaster. From my Lactate Threshold test, Dave was able to recommend a training plan which should improve my race times. By understanding training heart rate zones, I hope to run more efficiently. Would highly recommend. Ben

I can’t speak highly enough of Caroline at Blizard Physiotherapy.. She is an excellent physio, she’s really helped with my knees, just wishes I had gone to Caroline a long time ago. With a help of Caroline and the exercises she’s giving me my knees has made a good improvement
