Shoulder Pain
Can be disabling, it can build up over time, be caused by repetitive movements, or one off incidents that your body just could not cope with at that time. Shoulder pain can often be a neck or upper back problem in disguise!
Signs that your shoulder is saying “I need help”:
- You are having difficulty sleeping on the shoulder.
- You have a background pain in the shoulder at rest.
- You have pain radiating down the arm, into the neck or back.
- You struggle to wash your hair, fasten your bra.
- You have pain driving, for instance turning to look over your shoulder, changing gears, moving the steering wheel.
- You have pain lifting your shopping.
- You have pain and/or loss of movement reaching shelves.
- You are no longer able to swim, do Pilates/yoga classes, lift weights.
- You have had surgery and feel that you should have less pain and more movement .
