Race Report - 8th July 2024

It is a much shorter race report for this week although the quality of the racing was still of first class quality!

 

Kicking this week off with the Loxley Lash 5k series we saw ever consistent coached athlete and training partner to many of you Becky Middleton once again nipping under the 20mins mark to take the second lady award in the popular mid week race.

 

 

Last week’s winning of “Run of the Week” Seth Kirby was once again in action mid week in the  Sheffield based Run/Throw/Jump meeting where he once again displayed an excellent performance in the men's 3000m.

 

 

Moving a little further “north” we saw another coached athlete in Paul Massey complete the Great North Run 10k as we work on his speed before all roads once again lead to the Valencia marathon later in the year.

 

 

The final race to report form is the picturesque if not hilly Eccup 10 mile race held in Leeds!

The ladies from Team Blizard were in action in force and it is a three way joint “Run of the Week” for Elle Warren who was 3rd lady overall, Susie Hinchcliffe who took 3rd in her age group before she moves up a category and can improve by slowing down and also WoldsVet Tracey Gibson who took 2nd V60 place.

We could not separate these three performances so decided to give it to them all!

 

 

 

Massive well done to all those who raced in the last seven days and thank you to everyone who sent in their individual performances as these really do help us pull the results together.
